Over 48,000 feminine products collected at the 3rd Annual Cola Rosé Shower benefited Sistercare and the Period Project. With just under 300 attendees came in their pink attire including speaker Jesica Mackey, Chair of Richland County Council – District 9, Senator Tameika Isaac Devine, Richland County Coroner Naida Rutherford, Byron Thomas, City of Cayce Council – District 2, Period Project CEO, Karen Dudley-Culbreath, and Executive Director of Sistercare, Leah Wicevic to witness the stadium lights turned pink for the first time ever!

With a number of sponsors spanning across various business sectors, Cola Rosé Shower has gained support from local champions, including: all three hospitals, MUSC Health, Lexington Medical Center, Prisma Health, Assurance Financial, Wesley H. Frierson, M.D., Law Offices of S. Chris Davis, 32 Dental, Kendra Scott, Pulte Homes, Dayson Shalabi Burkett Law Firm, Lugoff Chevrolet Buick GMC, Village Idiot, Anchor Investments, and other prominent groups. The event was also covered by WLTX, WATCH FOX, and Soda City Living.

The 3rd Annual Cola Rosé Shower celebrated women by promoting awareness about feminine care issues and period poverty in the Greater Columbia community. Held at Williams-Brice Stadium’s Traditions Club on the evening of Saturday, February 3, 2024, the event transformed Columbia’s most masculine symbol pink for a day to promote unity around the cause of feminine care. Whether battling cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, infertility, menopause, facing a hysterectomy, or other healthcare challenges, the Cola Rosé Shower provides a place to be seen, heard, and celebrated. All women, despite age and ethnicity, face their own struggles or have a mother, sister, aunt, cousin or friend who can relate. That is why normalizing the conversation around women’s health is important to us.
